Current serving personnel from RAF Marham used their right to the Freedom of the City by parading in front of City Hall, where the lord mayor will take the salute. They were accompanied by The Band of the Royal Air Force College and a Spitfire flypast provided by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

A low pathogenic avian flu of the H5 strain has been confirmed at the commercial chicken farm in Mid Suffolk, which was first identified on Tuesday 10th December. All the birds will now be humanely culled and a 1km restriction zone around the infected farm to limit the risk of the disease spreading on December 11, 2019 in Eye, United Kingdom.

44 imagesGreene King brewery has announced the results of its public vote to rename The Black Boy Hotel in Sudbury to The Lady Elizabeth, after Lady Elizabeth de Burgh, who in the 14th century invested in creating the Market Hill in Sudbury, where the pub and hotel sits today. In January, Greene King announced it would be renaming the pubs because of the racist connotations of the names, due to the Suffolk brewery's 19th Century links to slavery.
